This place truly impresses on every front! The spacious parking lot was nearly full, which was a pleasant surprise. The newly renovated building features a modern design with plenty of glass windows, offering a glimpse of the delightful treats inside. I appreciated the outdoor seating available for dining. However, it does get quite busy and noisy, with people bustling around, sometimes bumping into you or reaching over. The ordering process is straightforward: you take a number and wait for it to be called before stepping into the line to place your order. The bakery showcases an abundance of baked goods that are a feast for the senses, with enticing aromas and free samples to enjoy while you wait. The prices are surprisingly reasonable given the quality of the offerings. The staff member who assisted me was both friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a pleasant experience. I will certainly be back!

Visiting from Sydney, Australia, and Oakmont Bakery has become one of my absolute favourite stops whenever I'm in Pittsburgh. The first thing that hits you is the sheer selection. Everywhere you look there are cakes, pastries, cookies, donuts, breads, and desserts that all look incredible. It's almost impossible to decide what to take home. While the cakes rightfully get most of the attention (and they absolutely deserve it), let me give a special shout-out to the pepperoni bread near the checkout counter. Absolutely amazing. Every visit, it's a must-buy. The quality, variety, and presentation are second to none, and it's easy to see why Oakmont Bakery is so highly regarded. Whether you're a Pittsburgh local or visiting from the other side of the world like I am, this place is worth the trip. The cakes are outstanding, the staff are always friendly, and the entire experience is something special. Do yourself a favour—arrive hungry and don't leave without trying the pepperoni bread.

This is a pastry heaven! You name it and you ll find it here! Bagels, muffins, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, cannolis, basically anything your sweet tooth desires will be here! The service was great! They move thru the numbers very quickly so dont grab a number as soon as you go in. Wait til your almost ready to order to grab a number. Oh! They even have treats for your fur babies (pups) too! Love this place!

Oakmont Bakery absolutely lives up to the hype and then some! This place is truly a bakery paradise and one of the most impressive bakeries I’ve ever visited. The second you walk through the doors, you’re hit with the incredible smell of fresh baked goods and surrounded by endless displays of cakes, cookies, donuts, pastries, breads, pies, and desserts that all look like works of art. No matter what you order, everything tastes fresh, rich, and made with incredible attention to detail and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is energetic, welcoming, and fun, and despite how busy they are, the staff keeps everything moving smoothly. You can tell why people drive from all over Pennsylvania and beyond just to visit this place. When you walk in it feels overwhelming at first with tons of options and probably pretty busy but you can take you time looking over the large section they have before ordering. You take a ticket and it got to our turn very quickly and the staff was very patient and helpful when we were picking out all the delicious treats we ended up with. Will definitely be back!
